Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.
When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order.
All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Small parcels may be delivered via DPD. Most products are sent on overnight couriers (subject to service availability in your area) and therefore delivery should generally be the next working day after despatch. However, delivery may take up to three to four working days and is subject to stock availability.
The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.
Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.
Drainage Shop will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way. Orders for 3m pipe may be delivered in more than one consignment over two days due to carrier restrictions on volume per consignment if in excess of 30 lengths.
Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Drainage Shop shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.
Please note that you are responsible for counting the number of pipes, coils and boxes noted on your consignment note. Please ensure that the numbers of pipes, coils and boxes matches the number that you have received and for which you, or a designated third party, has signed.
All shortages, breakages and errors must be reported to our Despatch team on 0800 085 4548 within two working days after which we have no recourse with the carrier.
We recommend that you do not start work on your site or book contractors prior to receiving any goods ordered. We cannot accept responsibility for any losses incurred for late delivery of goods or for any adverse weather conditions or any other delays which are beyond our control.
From time to time things do got wrong, packages can go astray and items can get damaged. We will always do our utmost to rectify any issues you may have as soon as we are made aware of any them. Please be patient with our staff, they will try their utmost to sort any issue you may have as soon as possible.
You will usually only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.
Drainage Shop shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
If you need to return a product purchased from Drainage Channel you have 7 days from the receipt of goods to tell us that you want to return something. After this time no returns will be accepted. The returned goods must be in a resalable condition and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us. For non-stock items that have been ordered especially for you, it may not be possible to return the goods or we may need to implement a re-stocking charge. This does not affect your statutory rights
We can arrange to have the goods collected, however this service is chargeable at cost and will be deducted from any credit given. All couriers charge quite highly for third party collections and we therefore strongly recommend that customers make their own arrangements to return goods to us.
Goods should also be returned with their original box, packing and accessories.
If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this within 10 working days.
Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.
If you wish to return a product then please follow this process:
- Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and request a product Returns Authorisation Number. (All deliveries into our warehouse must be documented and we therefore cannot accept a return without this number)
- We will then send you an email acknowledgement with a Returns Authorisation Number and further instructions on what happens next.
- Once the goods have been received back we will check them for their merchantable quality and take them back into stock or make contact with you if there is a problem.
This returns policy does not affect your legal or statutory rights.
Cancellation of Orders:
You are able to cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. You can cancel an order by following the links on the Drainage Channel website, or by phoning us on 0800 085 4548
We will attempt to despatch any orders within 24 working hours of receipt but this can be longer during busy periods.

Deliveries outside Region1 above will be subject to a carriage charge and will not be eligible for free delivery. Deliveries to these regions are normally made within five working days. We do NOT have any control over these surcharges, nor do we make any profit from them. We simply pass on the surcharge from our carriers.

We are no longer able to offer delivery to these locations due to the exceptionally high delivery costs. Orders placed for these areas will be refunded and customers notified by email.
The majority of our deliveries are made by national courier companies, the drivers make many deliveries each day in addition to our own consignments and run on very tight schedules, we will always try and follow any reasonable delivery instructions as best we can, but regretfully are unable to call before deliveries, place goods in specific locations or deliver to secondary addresses in the event you are not available at the time of delivery. Our products are generally commercial products delivered by commercial couriers (B2B) and most do not give time slots or text notifications.
